As i have been teaching for 18 years, i do not have the generation gap even with the difference in age. I understand the teenagers nowadays and what appeal to them
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I always keep a lookout for changes to curriculum. I stick closely to school curriculum and methods in order not to confuse the students. However, i will teach shortcuts and better methods to ensure they can finish the paper on time and is a method to check for careless mistakes. I am able to teach topics on own. I am able to help students who have problems focusing on class or missed lessons
As a Good Tutor
Firstly, I have to be always positive and energetic so the student will feel the same way about the lesson. I will check on the student on their school work and if they required any help and go through doubts. After going through their problems, i will give them more challenging questions and go through with them to make sure their presentations are correct and steps are not too lengthy or short. I will check on their school results, syllabus and examination schedule to know what to focus on.
