Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start immediately.
Rapport Building
I believe that teaching is a partnership with students and their parents.
As such, it is important that a tutor has a positive working relationship with parents. At the same time, it is also important that a tutor is able to engage the student and able to motivate the students to excel.

I build rapport with parents through constant updates of their child's progress.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I keep abreast of the school curriculum because I coach my sons at home.
Since I have proven methods to help my sons excel, I would like to replicate my method and help other students excel in their studies too.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor must be patient and see the potential of every child. They have to believe that each child's learning style is different. Therefore the challenge is to teach the child based on his/her learning style.

In addition, the tutor has to be prepared for lessons. They must come up with innovative ideas to deliver their lessons. For example, to teach children on the topics of 'Exploring Materials', the tutor may show the students a Youtube video on 'How glass is produced'.
