Commitment / Other Details: I am now awaiting to enter university. My timings for now are generally quite flexible, but may subject to slight changes after I enter university.

Rapport Building: I am a sociable individual who thinks that a good relationship with my student and their parents is imperative in providing an efficient and effective tuition for the student. Furthermore, I believe in letting the student see tuition as a learning experience instead of a chore. From my past experience, this is important in letting the student learn effectively because it changes the student's mindset from "need to learn" to "want to learn".

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I have experience with the latest A levels syllabus as I am in the first batch of JC students who have gone through the latest A levels syllabus.

Furthermore, I am experienced with the IP syllabus in NYGH, having gone through it myself. While this may be so, the IP syllabus is not too distanced from the O levels' syllabus and I am confident of tutoring it.

Lastly, I have had good experience in tutoring PSLE Math, and I am confident of teaching Primary School Math, Science and Higher Chinese.

As a Good Tutor: I have had experience in tutoring a Primary 6 student when I was in secondary 3. She made improvements from C to A*, and subsequently entered NYGH.

I have personally gotten 270 for PSLE, MSG 1.0 in Nanyang Girls' High School (which means I have achieved straight A1s in all my subjects), attained an A1 in O levels Higher Chinese.

While I understand that all students seek for tuition as a way to improve their academic results, I believe in catering each lesson to each student's needs. Therefore, I do not believe in a one-size-fit-all lessons. I was once a student, so I understand where are the pitfalls that students usually get stuck in, and I find my own ways of explaining them, just as how I reasoned it to myself when I learned my subjects in the past.
