Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: Able to start ASAP and willing to commit to students until graduation. Currently available from Thu & Fri 8pm onwards, Sat and Sun from 10am to 4pm.

Rapport Building: Currently a PhD student at NUS, holding a graduate scholarship from A*STAR. Passionate about science, teaching science and inspiring new generation of science-lovers. Due to specialization in biology and math, willing to commit to teaching students until they graduate from upper sec. Also able to teach JC, Poly, & Uni level biology.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: Currently have maths and science students doing PSLE, pure bio and e maths students doing O-level. Often keep up with TYS and latest exam questions.

As a Good Tutor: Having experience with unmotivated students, I am able to inspire students who dislike math and science.

With new students, I make it a point to figure out their strengths, weaknesses, fears and challenges to better understand and cater to their specific needs.

I also implement a short and long term goal setting exercise to keep them motivated throughout their education journey.
