Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will be using the assessment books that can be purchased from Popular, unless parents specifically want me to use a certain book.
As a Good Tutor
I would start by going through the student's school work first to clear any doubts about last week's materials. This will be followed by going through some new material in preparation for the upcoming week of content that will be covered in school. I believe this gives the student and edge and deeper understanding of the material when it is reiterated in class again. Lastly, I will be going through some sample questions with the child. Whether or not there is homework is up to the parents to decide as each student may have different needs and other commitments in school.
