Commitment / Other Details
I am a fulltime tutor and I am committed to teaching the students till the end of their course.
Rapport Building
Understanding the students' needs and treating them as friends rather than students in order to remove the teacher-student barrier which may otherwise hinder a more effective teaching.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Constantly looking through the syllabi every year updated by MOE (pertaining to O and A Level syllabi), and updated by other organisations such as IBO (pertaining to IB syllabi).
As a Good Tutor
I am committed to teaching the students, in making them understand the concepts rather than memorising chunks of formulae. By illustrating real-life applications and examples, I hope to stimulate their interests in the subject as I believe that students are able to remember concepts better and to do well in their respective subjects.

The speed of my teaching depends on how well the students can understand the particular subject. For weaker students, I tend to practise more questions with them so that they know what to expect during exams. For better students, I usually cover the topics in greater details, e.g. how does the concept come about or the derivation of the formula, so that they understand more about the topics and are able to do well when they progress to the next level.
