I like to start with an assessing test to better understand which are the student's weak points, and then I will develop a programme (3 months & 6 months) that is tailored to the student's specific needs.
For younger students, I like to create a gamification system where I use reward tiers and goal-hitting to keep the student motivated.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I frequently browse through assessment books as well as updated test papers and according to the student's capabilities, I will try to teach them advanced topics so that they are one step ahead of their peers.
As a Good Tutor
I believe patience and discipline is key to nurture a student well. I also strongly believe in open and frequent communication between the tutor and the parent so that both them and I have the same expectations and the parent is onboard the student's journey to progress.
