I am currently on a MOE teaching internship which has taught me how to prepare a conducive lesson for students to learn with the appropriate pace and methods. I have a great passion for teaching.
Teaching to me is not about just improving the students' grades but also to let them learn from their mistakes and remember it for life.
Rapport Building
I'll normally understand the behaviour and personality of the student through the parents such that I can modify the teaching method that will better cater to the child's needs and to let them learn effectively. Other than that, I will also ask the parents to help out with the children work if necessary and to guide them to improve their child learning ability.

As a good tutor,I believe that every students has the ability to strive for the best not only academically but also in other fields. Some of the basic qualities that I think a good tutor should have is to not judge a book by its cover, in other words, not judge the student if they do not understand a certain topic but to be patient and guide the student step by step for them to understand well.
