My Son was taking tuition for E math ( NA ) from Sec 2, he did his N level this year and achieved grade A2 . We will want to Thanks Mdm Ong for her great patience and dedicated tutoring him all these 3 years. We will strongly recommend her " Great tutor"

          Mr Seet

Hi! Just wanna update that my daughter was taking tuition for A Math with Mdm Ong. She took her Os last year. Managed to score A2 for A math and she's now in Eunoia JC. Mdm Ong is good tutor who is able to explain concepts clearly to students. Highly recommended.

"I engaged Ms Ong for my son's A-Maths when he was in Sec 3. His score at that point in time was F9 and with one-to-one tutoring from Ms Ong, his grades improved over time and he recently received his O Level results and he scored A1 for his A-Maths! Ms Ong demonstrated patience and analyzed how she can work on Kai's weaker areas in A-Maths and i am really happy that his A-Maths score improved tremendously"

          Thank you.

          Cheers,
          Wei Ling

I am writing to compliment Madam Ong Bee Hong for her dedication and professionalism in tutoring my son in Mathematics via Skype since 2017 (Additional Math in 2019). She is very dedicated and patient in guiding my son in Mathematics. My son Math result has improved tremendously.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to tutor Madam Ong Bee Hong who taught my niece Secondary 4 A Maths and E Maths in 2019. In a short span of less than a year s tuition with her, my niece was able to achieve excellent grades of A2 for A Maths and B3 for E Maths in her O levels in 2019. This was largely due to her good and effective teaching method and her ability to understand my niece and helped her worked on her areas of weakness. I must also compliment she who often stretched beyond her tuition hours to help my niece catch up with her school syllabus. We were very blessed to have found such a dedicated, patient and caring tutor.

          Rapport Building
Being a skilled communicator I am able to quickly gain the trust of children with my joyful personality. I am able to entice a student/child to fun learning to make it easier for them to understand and grasp the actual work.

I build a relationship with students to boost their confidence and never make them feel inferior. No student or child is wrong, it is an experience for them to learn. It is important for them to have confidence and in this their mentality will be focused to strive for excellence.

It is important for them to be in a conducive environment and trust and gain the respect of their tutors. I do not believe in stringent learning but open communication where the student/s feel comfortable when learning.
          Keeping Up with Curriculum
I keep myself updated with curriculum by knowing the Singapore Education system. I speak to the students and ask them about their tasks at hand and upcoming ones.

I read to better improve myself so that I am of service to helping students to excel.
          As a Good Tutor
The basics of a good tutor is to understand his or her students strength and weakness. Studies is not all about just work but play as well and by interacting well with them; these gives the student/s a sense of interest when learning and comfort knowing that they are not going to be "wronged" when they make a mistake but "coached" to be better.

          To Ace tutors ,

I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to a tutor I have gotten to know and was taught by through Ace tutors. I want to commend Perin( Navinder ) for being such a dedicated and effective tutor. I appreciate the fact that she gives her fullest attention when teaching and would use suitable methods to improve my grasp of the English language. I must highlight those times when she go out of her way by assessing my compositions I sent through emails even though it is already late in the evening ! I'm Glad and really proud to say that those efforts had paid off well. My usual grade of C5 for English shot up to a grade B3 in the N levels ! Perin started teaching me only 2 months before the N levels and yet I could get the grade I have aimed for ! Without her help, I doubt I would be able to attain my goal for a B3 and hence I would like to commend her through this email. Thank you Ace tutors for giving me such a wonderful tutor !

          To AceTutors:
I would like to recormend Teacher Perin for being such a dedicate and caring teacher. We appreciate her teaching with various aspects to improve my son english from C5to B3 in 2017 O level. We are really thankful and glad that her efforts had been paid off.My son was very stressful in mid 2017 due to triple science course he was taking. However thanks to the kind and caring nature of teacher Perin ,my son was able to pull through this tough journey.

I would like to compliment Teacher James.

Teacher James is like a counsellor to my daughter. He is able to simplify something that used to be difficult for my daughter to understand and let her know she is good at her work. He always motivate my daughter to give her best. Thank you for encouraging and guiding her and making her enjoy her studies and constantly do well in her tests & exams. Certainly a great tutor that parents would wish to engage.

          Regards
          Mr Roger Ng

Mr Chew is a patient and thoughtful tutor who puts a lot of thought into how he presents the material. His lessons were engaging, useful and always guide my daughter until she fully understand the topics. He also taught her how to takle problems. He is friendly and approachable tutor who really cares. He is also flexible and would work with my daughter schedule. He helped her through her final exams and I really appreciated the support and guidance given to Nat.

          i would highly recommend him.

          Best regards

This letter serve as a commendation to your tutor in your establishment. His name is James and his tutor id is 6388.

James communicate well with my son and with his guidance, my son numeracy skills and interest in science have developed greatly. James also cares a lot and he goes way beyond his duty and try his best to ensure that my son do not miss out any important topics during the pandemic.

I strongly recommend James to parents who need assistance in improving their child science and maths subject.

          Terence Kiew Han Wee

James was my son s tutor for Sec 4 combined science in Physics/Chem. My son was failing the subject in Sec 3 and James started tutoring him at start of Sec 4. My son has enjoyed his lessons with James and told me that he could easily grasp what James taught him.
Within a year, James managed to guide my son and turnaround his results from D7 to an A2 for O levels. I am very thankful for James commitment and guidance to my son during this period, definitely a great tutor! - Ms Susan Chua

I would like to give feedback on Mr James, he is my son's Math & Science tutor.
I would like to give thanks to his teaching and helped my son to achieve significant improvement.

Mr James is result oriented and responsible tutor.
Math - improved from A to A star,
          Science - improved from B to A.

Im Mdm Zubaidah and I recently engaged Mr James Chew to tutor my daughter for her P6 Science.
I am happy to report that she has improved in her Science grade (improved by 1 grade higher) and is more .
confident with the subject now. Thank you Teacher James for all your help.

My son had tremendous improvement especially Math after Mr James had taken over as his Math and Science tutor.
Mr James had started teaching him when he was in P5. I could remember his math & science marks hovered around 65-70.

After he was taught by Mr James, within a term his marks shot up to 80+.
Recently, he just gotten his PSLE result, I am very pleased to say he had gotten A for Science and A star for Math.
I truly believe that besides the kid needs to put on effort but getting a good tutor is very important.

Though he might not be a ex or MOE teacher, doesnt mean he is not equally good.
I was glad I had made the right choice and will continue to hire him as my son secondary tutor if require. - Ms Sophia

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to tutor James Chew (6388) who taught my niece Secondary 4 Physics in 2019. In a short span of less than a year s tuition with James, my niece was able to achieve an excellent grade of A1 for Physic/Chemistry in her O levels in 2019. My niece finds James teaching method very engaging, fun and easy to understand. We were very blessed to have found James and also very thankful for his dedication in tutoring my niece.

"Tutor James Chew is a very experienced tutor. He was able to build good rapport with my niece on the first day of tuition and my niece has regained her once lost confidence in her Physics that is shown in her good results in tests after being tutored by James. Regards Linda"

          Hello!
As you can see from my Education Portfolio, I have great interest and passion in Design, something I chose to pursue and excelled over the years. However, being able to teach and help students is also one of my aspiration.

I believe that education is not just about grade(s), but also to truly understand the purpose of education - bringing knowledge into practice; in turn build a strong foundation for the young ones. This is why I had decided to commit in teaching, at the same time, lending a helping hand to the parents.

I am an experienced tutor who started off with part-time tutoring to full-time today. Before entering uni, I have also worked full time as a Child Care teacher. Parents are generally happy and comfortable by handing their children to me.

          • Primary 3 Mathematics-Problem Sums
            Course Description:
The aim of the class is to boost confidence in students when it comes to solving problem sums. As we all understand, it is a heavy weightage component that one must and should excel to do well. The class seeks to strengthen one's foundation and comprehend the true beauty of problem sums.

Of course, together, we will be still working towards the analogy of "Practice makes perfect!" Practice questions will be given based on the topics ongoing in school and the material used would come from both Past Year Examination Papers as well as onSponge Conquer Problem Sum Assessment Book. With practice and full comprehension of problem sum, we look forward to enjoying the subject and achieve greater improvements! :)
            Other Details:
Pace of class will follow according to school's pace - to avoid information bombardment, that could necessarily lead to stress. But, of course, if students are strong, stable and confident enough, I am happy to up the challenge for them! :)

Yes, homework will be given in moderate amount. In math, practice is still one of the key to improvements! :)

              Course Description:
The aim of the class is to build a strong foundation in Science. Understanding science concept may be simple, but applying it accurately could be a challenge. The class would touch base on two factors 1. Understanding Topic/Concept 2. Applying it accurately.

Similar to Math, "Practice Makes Perfect" would come into place. Exposure to Science questions is important, especially MCQ (60marks). We will be working a lot on past year practice papers (or even up the game to PSLE questions, just to get one comfortable and curious about things around.) :)

              Other Details:
