As you can see from my Education Portfolio, I have great interest and passion in Design, something I chose to pursue and excelled over the years. However, being able to teach and help students is also one of my aspiration.

I believe that education is not just about grade(s), but also to truly understand the purpose of education - bringing knowledge into practice; in turn build a strong foundation for the young ones. Course Description:
The aim of the class is to boost confidence in students when it comes to solving problem sums. As we all understand, it is a heavy weightage component that one must and should excel to do well. The class seeks to strengthen one's foundation and comprehend the true beauty of problem sums.

Of course, together, we will be still working towards the analogy of "Practice makes perfect!" Practice questions will be given based on the topics ongoing in school and the material used would come from both Past Year Examination Papers as well as onSponge Conquer Problem Sum Assessment Book. With practice and full comprehension of problem sum, we look forward to enjoying the subject and achieve greater improvements! :)
Other Details:
Pace of class will follow according to school's pace - to avoid information bombardment, that could necessarily lead to stress. But, of course, if students are strong, stable and confident enough, I am happy to up the challenge for them! :)

Primary 3 Science-Applying Science Concept
Course Description:
The aim of the class is to build a strong foundation in Science. Understanding science concept may be simple, but applying it accurately could be a challenge. The class would touch base on two factors 1. Understanding Topic/Concept 2. Applying it accurately.

Similar to Math, "Practice Makes Perfect" would come into place. Exposure to Science questions is important, especially MCQ (60marks). We will be working a lot on past year practice papers (or even up the game to PSLE questions, just to get one comfortable and curious about things around.) :)

As a Physics graduate and Mathematics minor, I aim to ingrain the right understanding of the subject matter in my students.

In following the curriculum, I have also adopted my own sets of assessment books and guidebooks, from which I will photocopy and provide my students the challenging exercises to work on every lesson.

I will usually arrive 10 minutes early to chat up with the students and parents. During lesson, I devote the full 2 hours to discuss on the subject matter, giving a short break where necessary not counting into the lesson time. Outside lesson, I encourage the student to whatsapp me a photo of a problem whenever he/she encounter one, and I will provide my solution through whatsapp also.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: As a recent A-Level graduate, I’m fresh with the latest MOE syllabi and exam formats, especially in Pure Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Chinese. I keep updated with school paper trends and common weak spots.
