Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: Taught Sec 1 to 4 Math, guided more than 300 Sec 4 students through O levels, with 90% distinction rates. Very familiar with O Lvl marking requirement (having attended Cambridge marking workshops)

Rapport Building: For students, I would normally use questionly technique to help students to either crystalise their understanding of the concepts or to help student pinpoint the area of their misconceptions/weakness in order for me to focus on specified areas to help them.

For parents, I would spent 5 to 10 minutes to discuss with parents on the progress of the students after each tuition sessions.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I am a MOE teacher with more than 10 years of Mathemtics teaching experience across Sec 1 to Sec 5 and in both Express and Normal Academic streams. I specialise in upper secondary Mathematics and have more than 8 years of experience planning the gradudtion classes' Mathematics Curriculum as well as guiding and mentoring students to be prepared and peak at their potential for the O level examination.

As a Good Tutor: I am passionate about teaching Mathematics and gets great satisfaction when I see my students improving in Math and loving Math because they understand the concepts and is able to apply their understanding to solve the the Math problems and not through rote learning.
