Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been teaching at a tuition center for 1 year as a P4 Mathematics teacher. As a flexible tutor, i am able to change my teaching styles to cater better to the different types of students.
I am able to start immediately and able to commit to teaching for a few years, as long as my students need my guidance. I am also willing to adjust my schedule to cater to my students' needs.
Rapport Building
I will show my concern for my student's performance in school so as to understand the difficulties they encounter in studying better. In addition, i will also update the parents about what i am teaching so that the parents are kept in tabs about their child's learning.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am will constantly read up MOE's syllabus to make sure my knowledge is up to date. In addition, when using assessment books, i will choose the latest edition with an updated syllabus.
As a Good Tutor
As a tutor, i believe that patience is a very important attribute when it comes to teaching. I understand that different students have different learning speed, hence i will accommodate accordingly so that my student will not be bored of the syllabus or will bot feel loss. In addition, i like to teach in different methods since students have different ways of understanding.
