I would be very open and patient with them. I would treat them like a friend so that they would be comfortable with me as well. I think that it's important for them to like the tutor first to be able to learn better.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have 2 younger brothers who are currently in Primary aand Sceondary Schoo. THus, I know and understand the syllabus as I have helped to guide them in their work as well.
As a Good Tutor
It is utmost important to understand the weaknesses and strengths of the child so that they can work on them to improve overall. It is also important to constantly encourage and motivate the child to thrive.
