Currently doing an internship (5 days a week), flexible on wednesdays and sundays. Can start immediately and no limit to commitment duration.
Rapport Building
As a friendly an easygoing tutor, I aim to build rapport with my students by being a good listener to what they struggle at/with and provide emotional and logical solutions. I aim to build rapport with parents by being available when they need someone to provide help to their child.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have a younger brother who is in Secondary 3 express, hence I am familiar with the (common) subjects taken in Sec 1-4.
As a Good Tutor
Friendly and easygoing - thus gaining the trust of students and students will be able to better communicate with the tutor
Patience - so that students are not easily stressed out and feel comforted knowing that they can go at their own pace (but productively)
Strict - albeit being easygoing, a tutor should be able to differentiate when he/she must be stern & strict so as to get things done and encourage discipline
Polite - so that student feels respected and more appealed/encourage to get work done
