During my poly, I obtained a distinction for mathematics which represents the top 5% in the cohort for mathematics and scored an A for advanced mathematics. I was assigned to assist my peers which need help in their studies to improve their results.
I am currently tutoring 4 primary school students and 1 secondary 4 student all in mathematics. On top of that, I am currently a robotics and coding instructor for primary school students and with my experience with preschoolers, I am trained to explain concepts patiently in a way that they can understand easily. I believe a good tutor requires patience as well as communication skill. It is utmost important to be patient with the students in order to clear their doubts. As this is the main job of a tutor, clearing doubts of the student and enhance their knowledge. Next, without a great communication skills the student may not be able to understand what the tutor is trying to explain.
