My students’ grades, interest in the subject and ability to grasp the concepts at the end of the day are my utmost priority. I believe in adjusting one’s pedagogies to fit every student’s needs.
Rapport Building
I strive to understand their areas of weaknesses in the subject before devising a suitable teaching plan for them to maximise their learning potential. As a side note, 2 of my students have managed to achieve a feat of grade improvement from B4 to A1 by the end of their sec 2 year, which I strongly credit to both their hard efforts and my patience & eye for detail. I will not hesitate to prepare additional revision materials as and when required.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have won many awards in Math Olympiad Competitions (Third Place Award & Honour Roll Certificate in the American Math Competition, SMO Silver) during my High School years, was part of the SBGE (School Based Gifted Education) Programme and SMTP (Science Math Talent Programme) in Nanyang Girls High School.
