Commitment / Other Details
I can start immediately and commit for as long as the student requires me to commit.
Rapport Building
I build rapport with my students by taking an interest in their personal lives (only if they are willing to share), sharing with them many tips and tricks I've learnt over the past 12 years of education I received, allowing them to view the subject more pleasantly and share the same joy I have while learning these subjects.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As I just finished taking my A'levels, I am very familiar with the A'level syllabus and having taken my O'levels in 2020, I am still familiar with the O'level syllabus. Using old textbooks and school notes I have saved over the years, and the syllabus outline posted by SEAB for each subject, I will keep the relevant syllabus content fresh in my mind.
As a Good Tutor
I will first familiarise myself with my student's learning styles and alter how I teach and the notes I make according to each student's weaknesses and strengths. I will always be patient with my students and teach to improve their understanding of the subject, hopefully increasing their passion for it. I will be meticulous in my lesson plans, and use relevant worksheets to improve the student's understanding of the subject.
