I taught from 2011-2016 in a primary school, and then from 2023 to now in another primary school. I enjoy teaching children so I went back to my career. In between when overseas, I took up tutoring.
I’d like to do Zoom tuition on Weekends mornings or Friday afternoons to evenings.
Rapport Building
I usually chat with my students to get to know them. We talk about what they enjoy, how they like people to help them or remind them. I also update parents very frequently on their children’s work in the classroom.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I read up the latest textbooks and workbooks available. And I am in teaching so I attend meetings.
As a Good Tutor
I see the child’s difficulties and resolve them together with him/her. We practice together and I use different ways to help him/her understand the solutions. I am patient and determined and I want to transfer these values to the child.
