Keeping Up with Curriculum: To keep up with curriculum, I need to ask for the student's scheme of work for that year such that I understand the sequence of the topics being taught. I also regularly update myself by looking for assessment books and textbooks at bookstores and reference to my own school notes. Lastly, I also read the relevant examination boards' learning objectives to ensure that I cover all the needed points before the student takes the examination.

As a Good Tutor: As a tutor, I am willing to help the student to the best of my abilities by offering notes, personalised quizzes to tackle the more tricky areas and offer clarification whenever needed. I can also help to source for assessment books and worksheets for students should they need extra work to solidify their foundation. Depending on the student's learning attitude, I can also adapt and change to become more patient or assertive to ensure that the student learns more efficiently and lessons are more productive.
