Keeping Up with Curriculum: I visit the official MOE website to keep myself updated with the syllabus. I even purchase Ten-Year-Series books to read up about the various topics tested.

As a Good Tutor: Patience: We must understand that we were all once in the shoes of te student, and just because they do not understand one method delivery, it does not mean that they do not understand the tiopic at all. We just have to switch up our approach.
Discipline: The commitment needed to be a tutor is unique. We have to continue to work at home where we analyse the students' work and bring this feedback to them when we hold our next lessons.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I have taught a number of students before. I have had teaching experience with Primary 3, 4 and 6 students whom I taught Chinese and Mathematics. Thus, I am rather well informed of the current syllabus and what is expected of students these days for both Chinese and Mathematics.

In addition, I am also actively tutoring my younger brother who is currently in Secondary 4. I often help him out with his mathematics and humanities related subjects such as geography, history and social studies. I have tutored him ever since he was in primary school and thus, I am familiar with what is required of students both in secondary and primary school aspects.

As a Good Tutor: A good tutor should have patience when dealing with the students, and should be approachable so the student would dare to approach the tutor to ask questions. A tutor should also be stern when required so that the student would treat the lesson seriously. I see myself as an approachable, friendly and committed tutor. However, I can also be stern when required. Helping my students improve and reach their maximum potential is a commitment that I regard seriously.
