I volunteered as a primary school tutor in 2013 & continued volunteering till 2015. I am currently a full-time tutor with 3 Upper Secondary students and 2 A-level students under my tutelage.
As a straight-As student, I believe in conceptual mastery and teaching that unpacks ideas simply and succinctly.

I am Shakran and I graduated from Raffles Institution (Junior College) in 2016. I was awarded the Prime Minister's Book Prize in 2015 for distinctions in English and Higher Malay. I find tutoring enjoyable and fulfilling as I get to impart the knowledge I've accrued over the years to other young minds. I hope to inspire more students in achieving academic excellence.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As I have been actively tutoring students, I am up-to-date with the current syllabi and I am keenly aware of the examination trends. I will ensure that my lessons comprehensively meet the requirements of the current curriculum by structuring them based on the key learning outcomes teased out from the syllabi.
