I am available from monday to thursday, and on weekends.
Rapport Building
I believe in constant communication with parents, with a quick check in text or in person conversation at least once a month. As for pupils, I try to be more patient and understanding, to address their doubts and help them understand instead of nagging.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I update my tuition materials yearly to keep up with the curriculum. As I was an MOE teacher previously, I am updated on the changes in the curriculum and new materials through my ex-colleagues and other contacts.
As a Good Tutor
My approach to tutoring is to focus more on understanding the concepts before putting them into practice. I believe that discussion and targeted practice is more effective than drilling.
