Commitment / Other Details: I am able to commit till the national examinations.

As a Good Tutor: I have 6 years of experience as a part-time tutor, specialising in language intensive subjects like humanities (including History, Economics, General paper and Social studies) and English language. I have taught numerous JC students and prepared them for the A Level examinations, with experience teaching H2 Economics at a tuition centre. Some of my students are now obtaining their degrees from good institutions. Due to my academic specialisation and background, I focus only on the abovementioned subjects.

My value add to my students are in the areas of critical thinking and learning new perspectives. In my GP, Economics and History lessons, I focus on helping my students develop their own arguments and assessing alternative viewpoints. I also strongly believe in communication and feedback I give regular and detailed feedback to my students and am constantly reachable. My background in debating and research puts me in a good position to train my students.

I am a graduate of Political Science and History from NUS, and previously achieved excellent grades at National JC. I also just completed my Masters Degree from the UK. I intend to commit myself to my student's tuition until the national exams.
