Officially, I've taught an ITE student Math for a year. The student was later awarded a scholarship and made it to Poly, where I continued tutoring him for another year.

I'm friendly and approachable, and I believe that students learn better when they are comfortable with their tutor. Apart from that, I also understand parents' concerns when it comes to their child's studies. I believe I am able to help bridge the gap between parents' expectations and the student's ability in a positive and encouraging way.

As a Good Tutor
I take time to understand students' struggles, and find an approach that they can absorb both easily and comfortably. I believe every student has the potential to learn - just that each respond differently to different teaching methods. Hence, part of my tutoring philosophy is to find the approach that best fits every student.
