After every lesson, I will update the student on what he/she did well and also what he/she could have done better. Once a month, I would summarise the child's learning process to the parents to keep them in the loop. If the student shows a high willingness to learn and submits work timely, I even treat them free drinks and snacks!

I still keep in touch with my Secondary school teachers and when I have any doubts, they are the ones that fill me in on the gaps
