Commitment / Other Details
I am committed to teach students for as long as they need. My schedule is flexible, and only unavilable on Wednesday night, Saturday and Sunday.
Rapport Building
I am a friendly person who is open to communication. Students find me easy to talk me. I will take into account students' needs and their current homework load before issuing homework to them. By giving them support and sufficient time to complete their work, I am able to build a close relationship with students.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Besides keeping myself updated with MOE policies, I will communicate with my ex-colleagues who are current school teachers regularly, in order to keep abreast with school assessments and curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
I feel responsible towards my students, and will insist that they can only improve when they do their work. Language can only be improved when one use it frequently through reading, listening, writing and talking. Chinese is not just another subject; it is a "live" language that should be appreciated. As a Chinese teacher, my responsibility is not simply to prepare my students for examinations, but also to make them understand and appreciate their hertiage.
