It is important to understand how the student thinks, the likes and dislikes of the student and work with them. As for parents side, I think it is important to understand their needs and what they want me to teach their child. It is important to me to keep parents updated on the child's progress as well.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I keep myself up to date with the SEAB syllabus on the SEAB website, as well as the ten-year series (if any).
As a Good Tutor
I am dedicated and committed to teaching. I understand the stress of being a student in Singapore. A key to being a good tutor is managing the stress on the tutee, ensuring his mental well-being is not affected. Else, the tutee will not find joy in learning.
