I'm available on most weekends and able to commit fully once the assignment is passed to me. I prefer taking private student (1 to 1) as this allows me to focus on my student entirely.
Rapport Building
Communication between students and parents is key, and I will make it a point to feedback to the student his/her strengths and weaknesses at the end of every lesson. For parents wise, I will make it a point to provide feedback on how to help their children improve and ways to support their learning.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As a Good Tutor
My method of instruction for teaching Mathematics is as such. I'll break down the learning of topics into 3 portions. The first portion is learning the theory through notes that I've come up with myself during my junior days, explaining both theory and any tips and tricks I've come up with. The next portion will be practice through tutorials, where I've sourced questions from different textbooks and past year papers, serving as practice foe the students. The last portion will be practice tests that I've compiled, serving as a test of the student's ability in the topic, and from the test result, to determine if I will proceed on to teach a next topic or revise on existing weaker ones.
