Rapport Building
I usually chat with my students to get to know more about them first, finding out what problems they usually face and from there I'll come up with solutions to help improve whatever difficulties they face and we will work on it together. After class, I will usually update parents on the progress of their kids. :)
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I usually visit the music stores / bookstores and keep myself updated in the curriculum or do my relevant research online.
