Thus, I seek to be both a friendly senior and a tutor to the student such that the student feels less shy and more willing to ask for help. I am willing to come to class earlier and end later to get to know more about the student, as well as share my own personal experiences and life in school with my student. Easily contactable, especially via telegram, students can feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer the question.
        Keeping Up with Curriculum
        To keep up with curriculum, I need to ask for the student's scheme of work for that year such that I understand the sequence of the topics being taught. I also regularly update myself by looking for assessment books and textbooks at bookstores and reference to my own school notes. Lastly, I also read the relevant examination boards' learning objectives to ensure that I cover all the needed points before the student takes the examination.
        As a Good Tutor
        As a tutor, I am willing to help the student to the best of my abilities by offering notes, personalised quizzes to tackle the more tricky areas and offer clarification whenever needed. I can also help to source for assessment books and worksheets for students should they need extra work to solidify their foundation. Depending on the student's learning attitude, I can also adapt and change to become more patient or assertive to ensure that the student learns more efficiently and lessons are more productive.

            I have been tutoring Primary and Secondary School students since 2008.
            In July 2013 to April 2020, I joined a tuition centre as a full time tutor, teaching Math to Primary school students, math and science to lower secondary school students and Emath, Amath, physics and chemistry to upper secondary school students.
            I believe that working closely with parents will speed up students' progress.
            Hence, regular feedbacks, a reminder on homeworks and review of students' assessment will be given to parents.
            Help will also be given outside lesson time to ensure good learning.
