Keeping Up with Curriculum: I am always updated with music exam curriculum for ABRSM and Trinity. I prepare students well for music examination as I am very familiar with the syllabus and what they are looking for. This is because I went through the same examination as well many years ago (I have ABRSM Diploma in music performance and LTCL in music performance). I also taught pop tunes (Recent and old). I did teach improvisation and music theory as well.

As a Good Tutor: The most important thing for a tutor is to make the lesson interesting for the students. If the lessons are boring, they would be unstimulative for the brain and thus absorb slowly. I always strive to make lesson interesting through having balance between learning pop tunes, improvisation and Classical repertoire. One very important thing for me as a tutor as well, a tutor has to know the subject he / she is teaching very well. I am very confident in the understanding of music and I wish to share it with many other people.
