As a Good Tutor: A musician with an aggregate of 9 years in choirs and more than 4 years in string orchestras, I have guided those around me during my leadership appointments as I taught skills such as technique, posture and basic music theory, showing my proficiency in effective communication and music. As a performer, I have performed in New York's Carnegie Hall, Sydney's Opera House, Singapore's Chinese Cultural Centre, Chijmes Hall, NUS Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and School of the Arts (SOTA).

I am also able to teach English and Elementary Mathematics at the O level standard. While I am new to private tutoring, I often help those around me and so I am able to understand the needs of the student and adjust the teaching style accordingly.

I believe every student is capable in their ways, and success should only be defined on their terms, not by society's. I look forward to helping as many students as I can in as many ways as I can.

Rapport Building: As a home tutor, I make it a point to customize my lessons to the individual student's needs. As such, my teaching style varies from student to student.
With more talented and highly motivated students, I would constantly challenge him/her by posing increasingly difficult/thought-provoking questions, while dropping only small hints along the way. With students having a lower aptitude for the subject, I would constantly demonstrate the link between new concepts and what they already know, so as to build their confidence.

Both had gotten an aggregate of 250 and above and had gone to Bukit Panjang Government High and SCGS. I am able to build good rapoort with students using small challenges and motivational tokens for kids.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: Had been going for courses related to Math and Science padagogy. Am willing to try out test papers from other schools first before teaching the kids.

As a Good Tutor: My strength is that I am able to build strong rapport with my students and encourage them to always put in thier best effort in all that they do. If my students have done anything wrong, I will not hesistate to correct them first as I always believe in Character First before Results. I like to give them mini research to find out things that they want to know and not just solely based on the effort of teachers or tutors as learning is unlimited to just knowledge pass on to them from teachers. Kids must also be independent to explore their learning beyong textbooks or examinations.
